NICK VENGHAUS
Nick excels at driving decisions forward and solving highly complex challenges while preserving long-term value for the asset. Nick is involved in the development process from site selection onwards, as he helps with space planning, cost estimates, managing plan coordination, and creating efficient building systems. Nick is keenly aware of the demands of institutional quality construction. Nick’s background in constructing multi-family and mixed use assets is extensive and spans over 17 years, including over a decade building in Texas and Colorado for Gables Residential, where he was Regional Vice President of Construction. Part of his time at Gables was spent advocating for and leading the creation of the quality control division, which standardized details, waterproofing, testing, quality expectations and safety. In addition to his knowledge about building systems, his foundation in construction is in cost estimation, which allows him to provide timely broad assumptions as a decision matrix for design decisions. Nick currently resides in Houston with his wife and two sons. He graduated cum laude in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
