Nick Venghaus

Nick joined Mintwood Real Estate in 2019, where he co-directs the development process from site selection onwards, while also guiding space planning, cost estimates, managing plan coordination, and efficient building systems creation. His keen awareness of the demands of institutional quality construction allows him to excel at driving decisions forward by solving highly complex challenges while preserving long-term value for the asset.

Nick’s background in constructing multi-family and mixed-use assets is extensive and spans over 20 years, including over a decade building in Texas and Colorado for Gables Residential, where he was Regional Vice President of Construction. While at Gables, Nick led the creation of the quality control division, which standardized details, waterproofing, testing, quality expectations, and safety. It is his foundation in construction and cost estimation that allow him to provide timely feedback and management of the design and construction process. Nick graduated cum laude in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
